Based in the recently opened creative venue Texture, Test Card is Manchester's new audio/visual meet-up. Each event will be an open invitation to artists all over the city/country to share ideas and talk about their work with like-minded individuals. Test Card aims to build a community to discuss and develop the area of A/V Performance, pushing ideas of what cinema could be in the future.
This months edition will also see the Manchester launch party for the
AV Silk Road, which is a collaborative project between Test Card,
Birmingham based Chromatouch and VJ London to create a network though
out the UK for AV artists. As part of this project we have invited the
amazingly talented L’Aubaine up from VJ London to showcase her live
cinema performance Morocco.
Reserve an artist slot and you can come and hook up your equipment and experiment with Texture’s state of the art projection and sound system. Later on in the night we will be joined by our resident DJs
